Hot Cocoa is the rose. Although this is a new Antique Rose Emporium Mail Order offering, we have sold this rose at our retail display gardens for a couple of years. Our customers love it! In fact, we can’t keep it in stock when it is in bloom.
This three to four foot, hardy shrub has the most unusual coloration. It is rather hard to describe – maybe “brick”? You will pick up tones of orange, red, brown, possibly faint purple tones depending on the climate. What we do like about this open shrub is its dark, rich foliage. Talk about healthy looking, this rose is it.
